On September 30, the Hubei Provincial People's Government issued the Notice on Commending the Winners of the 14th Hubei Provincial Outstanding Social Sciences Achievement Awards. Faculty members from our university received a total of 18 awards, including 7 first prizes, 3 second prizes, and 8 third prizes. Our college has always attached great importance to research, consistently promoting teaching through research, actively building platforms for innovation, and encouraging faculty to engage in in-depth academic exploration and teaching reform practices. We have been carrying out well-organized research activities with dedication. Professors Qu Xiaolin, Zeng Hongyu, and Dr. Xu Zhaoming have long been committed to academic research, leveraging their extensive experience and profound expertise to delve deeply into their respective fields. The two award-winning achievements are not only the fruits of their theoretical reflection and research but also reflect their proactive efforts and innovation in research practice.
Moving forward, our college will focus on fostering more high-quality research outcomes. Guided by the formulation and implementation of the "15th Five-Year Plan," we will strengthen top design, emphasize connotative development and distinctive growth, continue organized research efforts, stimulate faculty enthusiasm for research, and channel these efforts back into education and teaching. This will further enhance the quality of talent cultivation and strive to nurture well-rounded socialist builders and successors who are developed morally, intellectually, physically, aesthetically, and labor-wise.
